DOVER'S CRUISE TERMINAL

The Dover Cruise Liner Terminal was opened at Easter 1996 and now serves as the principal UK home of several Cruise Ship Companies.

The Cruise Terminal is located in the Western Docks of Dover's historic harbour. It was built exclusively for the use of Cruise Liner passengers adjacent to the site of the former Dover Marine rail station, which is an important listed building. The Cruise Terminal is open all year round and hosts visiting ships as well as those starting and ending their voyages. There are two berths giving full deep-draught access and bunkering facilities.

One of the companies using the terminal is Fred Olsen Lines. Their ships Black Watch and Black Prince are frequent visitors to Dover. Another company using the facility is Saga.

The Terminal is managed by Dover Harbour Board.

The Cruise Terminal is 2.5km (1.5 miles) from Dover Priory station and is not easy walking distance. Taxis are recommended! See the taxi numbers on the contacts page.

Norwegian Dream
