This site is intended as a guide to the town for the visitor or traveller, regardless which country or town you may be travelling from. Dover residents may even find something useful here.

I have not intended this site as a tourist guidebook or a picture album. Photos will be added where it's sensible, but the main intention is that the site should contain as much information as possible in a readible form, even for visitors on a dial-up conection. This site is all my own work. This site was originally started in October 1996 when no-one else had even thought about a Dover website, the original site was at www.topsy.demon.co.uk . This site went offline in 2005 but an archived copy is available.
